Robert is an amazing man who was born with a disability. Cerebral Palsy was supposed to hold Robert back. He wasn’t supposed to live past eighteen years of age, he wasn’t supposed to be able to drive a car or own a home. Robert knows there are limitations in life but he also knows there are many opportunities to succeed. His motto is “Go Beyond the Fence.” For people with disabilities there is always a barrier/ a fence that says “you can’t do this” or “you can’t go here.” Robert wants children with disabilities to go beyond that fence.
